This unit deals with teaching methodologies, and highlights the ESA method which is the preferred method of ITTT. The unit gives examples and descriptions of some other commonly used methodologies and discusses their pros and cons. The module explains the benefits of the ESA method, and goes further by breaking down each component of the methodology. Numerous examples of exercises are provided for each phase of the ESA method. Lastly the unit touches on student mistakes, errors and how best to correct them.
