I feel this course has helped me a lot especially with grammar rules. As a native english speaker, I overlook many of the basic rules that are utilized when speaking and writing english. I never think about how difficult it could be to perfect a language I have spoken for many years. From this course, I realized that I too have a lot to learn about using “proper” english and how to organize sentences- especially in writing. I plan to use many of the ideas and suggestions given in this course when starting my new job as a high school teacher. I feel that some of the suggestions are very useful such as following ESA and how to look at the differences between adult and young learners. As a person who takes a lot of pride in doing a good job, I will use many of these resources and others to make my class exciting, enjoyable, and beneficial for the students.
