The videos were very beneficial. I learned that teachers need to look happy and have the energy to energize their own students to learn. Learning the names of your students is good for a teacher's rapport. Showing your students respect will keep them interested and can encourage them to learn. I also learned that the teacher has to give their students positive feedback whether the student got the sentence wrong or not. The students were more quiet and not as willing to participate in the first video and this may have been due to the teacher's demeanor. The teacher was not smiling in the first lesson and he also was not as clear with instructions; this can lead to lack of participation from the class and it can also make the students feel intimidated by the teacher and the language being taught.
