This unit was helpful in providing considerations when choosing coursebooks and lesson materials. I learned how to analyze coursebooks for appropriateness and also how I could customize materials to fit my class better. I learned what the strengths and weaknesses are to using authentic and created materials. It was also interesting to see the example created materials to use as ideas.
