I think that this unit really showed how much a lesson plan can vary and how important having at least some sort of idea about how the lesson is going to go is a good idea. If as the teacher you go in blind or come in with a plan that is too structured then you will have a hard time gaining the trust of the class because you may have not accounted for something that happened. It is also important that the activities that you plan have a point and aren't just busy work for the students. The lessons need to be just that
