Unit 6 consisted of two video examples of a teacher teaching a lesson; the first was an example of an unsuccessful teaching strategy and the second showed a much more positive instructing approach with far more student participation and interaction. The contrasting videos demonstrated very clearly how students respond to the teacher's attitude. They respond positively to being acknowledged and encouraged in their attempts to speak the language.
