I was wondering if other languages are as ‘hard’ as english. It is the universal business language but there are so many parts to know and understand. I have heard many sentences in reported speech that are not stated correctly but I can still understand what was being said. So this would be another challenge in the teaching process because it is tricky. One has to be sure to teach perfectly correct english and as students gain vocabulary and proficiency they will learn to pick up on understanding spoken english as opposed to written english.
