There are multiple teaching aids that could be used in the classroom. But obviously all are not going to be available all of the time. Modern day teaching aids such as computers and the IWBs are extremely useful tools but obviously more expensive. Therefore they must be more rarely used throughout the world. I learned that teaching equipment should be a various mix of components in order to provide balance and interest for the students. The more modern technology pieces of equipment can make teaching preparation time quicker than writing things out by hand and constantly writing on the board.
