It was interesting to see the different forms of ESA learning including the boomerang and patchwork methods. I didn't think of teaching as a multi-step activity with back pedaling between activating and studying. I can also use the suggestions from this section to come up with different engaging activities to help the students learn. The present perfect tenses are very difficult to teach! Hopefully I will be able to learn some new ways to teach my students this tense from the chapter! Present simple and present continuous are much easier to understand and teach because we use them so often. I had problems with students behavior when I was new to teaching. It would have been helpful for me to have read through how exactly you suggest that we deal with problems in the classroom. I liked the suggestion that we should also rely upon our colleagues advice to help end any discipline problems in class
