This unit has taught me to not fully rely on lesson materials and always maintain creativity so that I can adapt to my students' needs. I have been teaching for a couple of weeks now and I do find myself becoming a bit reliant on the course book and becoming less creative when I teach the students. I would love to create my own materials but I think I need to have more experience using a typical course book first before I try to become creative.
