There are many reasons to choose Malaga as your destination for taking our TEFL Certification course. Traditional Spanish festivals, fascinating cultural attractions, great local food, spectacular beaches and a wonderful climate are just some of the things that you can enjoy during your stay with us.
The city of Malaga dates back to around 700 BC and is one of the oldest cities in Spain. Due to this long existence, Malaga has plenty of historical and architectural attractions to explore, such as:
As well as its extensive historical and architectural attractions, Malaga is also famous for its traditional Spanish culture. One of the best known traditions in this part of Spain is the flamenco dance that is performed at festivals and smaller shows throughout the year. As well as the flamenco dance, visitors to Malaga will soon become familiar with the distinctive sound of traditional Spanish guitar music that is played in many of the bars and restaurants in the area.
Food lovers are also well catered for in Malaga as the city is home to countless tapas bars, cafes and restaurants, all serving local seafood and other specialties. Of course, no visit to Spain would be complete without sampling a delicious plate of paella.

Playa de la Malagueta: This is a very popular beach located only ten minutes from the city centre. It has good facilities, life guards on duty and plenty of places to eat.
Playa de Palo: This beach is located next to El Candado Marina and is perfect for water sports such as sailing and swimming. It has a promenade, life guards and plenty of good facilities.
Playa Huellín: This is a busy beach town that is accessible by bus from the centre of Malaga. Its promenade is named after Antonio Banderas and features many beach bars and other good facilities.
Playa de Las Acacias: This popular beach is only a ten minute walk from our training centre and has fine sand and superb facilities. The beach is nearly a mile long and is divided into sheltered coves, with a lively promenade that comes to life at night.
El Torcal Park Nature Reserve: This spectacular mountain range is located around 13 miles north of Malaga and is famous for its unusual limestone rock formations. The park covers roughly 7 square miles and has three hiking trails of various lengths, one of which offers views of the African coastline.
National Park of Malaga: The Montes de Malaga covers an area of nearly 5000 hectares and lies 6 miles to the north of Malaga. The park consists of many pine covered valleys that are home to a wide variety of wildlife. The park is well maintained and offers plenty of facilities including many beautiful picnic areas.
