I think this unit is very useful. Using proper teaching equipment will help students to gain language more efficient. After learning this unit i feel much more confident to teach in my future classes and how to help them. I will try my best to put what I have learned into the real practice. Thank you very much. The unit explained the two productive skills - speaking and writing; the different activities associated with each skill - accuracy and fluency activities; techniques to encourage students to take part in these activities; guidelines for the activities; and typical speaking and writing lessons. It also stated how popular games could be adapted and incorporated into lessons. As a current teacher I find some of the lesson irrelevent and rigid in the ESA method. There are other methods of teaching and just as the beginning of the lesson stated "one should be flexible"". I find that one should determine the concept being taught and base their lesson planning on that. Also
