In this unit I learnt about the basic rules of modal auxiliary verbs. I learnt that modal verbs are used before other verbs to add meaning to the main verb and that they can used to express degrees of formality. I learnt that these modal verbs are used differently and for different uses. I also learnt how they can be said in different tenses. This unit also taught me about passive and active voice and how tense can determine the formation.
