This second unit was about learning the different parts of speech which are as follows: -nouns -pronouns -adjectives -articles -verbs -adverbs -gerunds -prepositions -conjunctions Each of these are then separated into different categories. I have learnt it is not an easy unit to learn as there are many words in the english language that do not follow any of the general guidelines. There are also words that can be used as different parts of speech depending on the way it is used in a sentence. This unit has retaught me many of the things I had forgotten over the years and will be beneficial in helping me teach others the correct way of speaking and writing the english language.
