TEFL Ogletown Delaware

I first applied to take a tefl course because my ultimate goal was to be a professor and I wanted some techniques, training and experience which could help me. This course has taught me so many things concerning teaching methods and how best to deal with different types of students, I never expected to learn so much from an online course. This course has also steered me towards phonetics as a means to help teach foreign students, which is something I hadn't considered prior to this. I'm hoping to take another course over the summer for further prep work and then look for a tefl job overseas. I do not think this will be a career choice but it's certainly something I'm looking forward to implementing over my summers and possibly over a gap year after university. I love travelling and I still really want to teach so this would be a perfect opportunity. I originally took the tefl course as a means to help me decide if teaching would be right for me. My graduation is getting closer and I wanted to make sure that teaching was a career option before I made an formal decisions. tefl has shown me that, with work and experience, teaching would be a viable option and one that I will continue to pursue. I cannot wait to take another course (hopefully this summer) and apply for jobs for the summer of 2012.
