This was primarily a review for me because I have been teaching for a few years and I’m a native speaker. I expected the tenses to be a challenge and they were. The course provided an excellent base to build upon which I will use. The real surprise came in lesson 16; the reported speech component. I never really thought about the mechanics involved converted active speech into reported speech. Again, the lesson provided a good base and my tutor’s feedback was very helpful.
Another aspect that I particularly enjoyed was trying to find, create, or come up with the many different activities, exercises and worksheets. This will be especially helpful with the younger learners.
