This unit was very full of information regarding the pronunciation of words and sentences to convey your meaning properly. Learning techniques about how to go about teaching this difficult subject was very beneficial and a lesson I am sure to come back to again. Learning about the rise and fall of speech and the importance of stressing the correct syllables of words in a sentence in order to communicate was enlightening. The introduction to the International Phonemic Alphabet I must say was little intimidating but not so bad once I got used to it. Overall I saw the great importance of teaching people how to sound when they speak.
