In this unit I learned that there is a difference between teaching young learners and adults. The children's attention span is much less than an adult. Also the child seeks the approval of the teacher. It is good for the teacher to show signs of appreciation to the child. The teacher can have smiley or other reward stickers to give out for good work or behavior. I learned that a problem business learners have is that they may often be tired because they worked all day. The teacher may have to adjust the lesson plan and turn it into a conversational class.
