In this lesson we learned about the receptive skills of listening and reading. We learned about how we associate what we read by our own cultural bias and that and understanding of the culture that we are talking about is important to ensure that the students understand the material being read. We also learned about the how to choose topics for students to read and listen about and how to add interest to the topic by using pictures and videos.
