Different teaching methods are important to examine because each one contains an idea/s that would be of a great benefit in the classroom. You don't necessarily need to follow one particular structure each and every class. I agree that the culture and the level of the student should determine which method you chose to use during that particular lesson/class. I like that in this Unit there was a more in depth explanation of Engage-Study-Activate. Schools that I have taught at in the past don't realize that it's not always necessary to follow the Straight Arrow approach in each and every lesson. I think just following one particular path when teaching langauge can hinder the amount of language being taught
