This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Here we had a lesson of different groups a teacher may com across along with the pros and cons of the groups. Whether you have a group that had been together and are comfortable with one another or everyone is getting to know one another for the first time and a few examples of activities to help build a rapport with the students. Skill building exercises can be used in group form that involves the entire class playing together or set in pairs or smaller groups. Knowing the difference between a student being disruptive or simply trying to help another student while using his/her native language will always help keep the teacher from reprimanding or getting upset.
