This unit has given me more in-depth knowledge into the past tenses and how we use it. It is important to thoroughly understand its usage and how to explain it to learners. Understanding how and when it is used will greatly benefit me in both professional and teaching ways. I am able to describe how the past-tenses are used and hopefully I will be able to adapt that description towards my teaching to new learners of the language.
