This unit was difficult for me due to the amount of homework I had outside the unit chapter that has been provided. The unit on course development forced me to study the different types of syllabuses according to various theories. The content of syllabus and how to design it through personal study outside what was provided in this unit was very helpful for me. Also the different types of tests was one of my neglected areas in teaching esl in the Dominican Republic. It won't be in the future.
