This chapter stresses the importance of creating and using lesson plans in a flexible way. One of the main point that was expressed was that lesson plans should not make lessons too rigid and ignore the needs of students or unexpected problems that might arise. A good lesson plan should try to account for problems that can come up and have a solution prepared. A good teacher should not let the lesson plan control the lesson but use the lesson plan as a guide to accomplish certain objectives while implement adjustments to the lesson according to the situation.
