In the last unit of our ITTT course we were given some tips and useful information concerning common problem situations that we may encounter in our teaching careers. Firstly we looked at the dreaded first lessons. Every class that we teach will have to have a first day. We were encouraged not to launch straight into a course book lesson but rather to establish rapport with our students by getting them involved in a fun class activity. It should be the kind of activity that acts as a good ice breaker and will get students talking amongst themselves
