Throughout this unit I developed a much greater idea of the different roles of a teacher and how different roles at different times can enhance learning for students. Understanding what makes a successful learner is especially useful when wanting to become a teacher that fosters success. This unit helped to outline for me what makes a successful learner. Particularly that a motivated learner is the most likely to be successful. This was helpful because it taught me that one of the most important jobs as a teacher will be fostering confidence and motivation in students for optimal learning and success.
