I had not previously considered that present tense can be used for future situations or indeed that future tense can be used to predict present situations. This unit has provided a clear structure and examples of all the tenses to enable a more standardised and rules-based approach to teaching grammar. It has also been helpful to understand alternative methods for teaching the different topics and which topics should be taught together to avoid confusion.
