I found the phonetic alphabet particularly intriguing. I have always known what the phonetic alphabet was but had never actually seen it or tried to read it. From an already english speaking perspective I found it confusing but I can see its purpose in portraying sounds as opposed to attempting to guage any rules for ï¸Âsounds in english words. I previpualy hadn't factored in having to incorporate pronunciation into a lesson plan
