The content of this unit concerned the parts of speech and focused entirely on grammar. I learned to decipher specific types of nouns, adjectives, verbs, etc. Additionally, I learned the different verb tenses and the challenge irregular verbs present to teaching students these tenses. Furthermore, I also learned that many of the rules present in English grammar are circumvented by numerous and common exceptions. Therefore, some of the subjects presented in this lesson with require further study to determine the best way to present these exceptions to students.
