This unit covers the parts of speech. Covering nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns and prepositions. The unit covers the basic functions of each of these parts of speech and the different subcategories of each part of speech and the different uses of each subcategory. The unit also covers the standard way to transform a root word into the other parts of speech. Some exceptions and irregular words are covered in each section as well.
