In this unit I learned about the various parts of speech in depth. First I learned about nouns, and most notably countable and uncountable nouns. I then learned about adjectives, both comparative and superlative. I also learned that there are two types of articles in English: definite and indefinite. "A"" and ""an"" are indefinite articles because they are used when the noun they are referring to is singular and general. ""The"" is the definite article because it is used to refer to a specific item within a group. I further learned that there is a distinction between transitive and intransitive verbs
