This unit on parts of speech explained all parts of different types of sentence structures. It broke down the basics for me giving examples of each part of speech. I have learned that verbs are broken into 4 different principal forms: base form, past simple, past participle, and present participle. I also learned about comparative superlatives, which are used to compare things. For example, you add -est to an adjective to show it's place in comparison to something.This is helpful to know when teaching the difference between comparative adjectives and comparative superlatives.
