This unit involves the identification and understanding of the different parts of speech. Understanding how each part of a sentence relates to another is very important in deciding how and what word to use in order to properly communicate what you mean. It's important to understand that there are several exceptions to the general times of how words are modified when spelling. Many times one must consider how many syllables are involved and whether objects follow the verbs. There are no advisor rules regarding parts of speech. Understanding how and when to use certain words will only improve with time and practice.
