Unit 2: Parts of Speech broke down the different parts of speech in the English language. The examples that were provided gave clear explanations of the lessons at hand. The structure and progression of the unit alowed me to read through the unit confidently. The second lesson was about the English grammatical system viewed from logical angle. I have learnt the usage and the main types of the parts of speech (noun, verb, article etc.) and their syntactical roles (subject, verb and object). I think teaching the grammar of a language correctly provides the strongest fundament for students. in this unit i learned specific vobulary, such as transitive verbs, the gerund (we don't know the term but we use it every day). I also think the content was very well explained and easy to understand and remember.I also learned about the adjectives order that i did not know earlier and which is really easy to remember.
