This unit focused on basic grammar concepts in the English language. It reviewed a range of ideas relating to the parts of speech. The unit gave good examples relating to each new idea. It was helpful to see examples of sentences broken down into each specific category. It was also helpful to see common mistakes people make in the English language. Learning the difference between transitive and intransitive verbs was the most helpful section. As an English teacher, I was familiar with most of the ideas presented. I also found the activities mentioned for use in the classroom to be very beneficial. Overall, I felt this was a very good overview and reminder of the parts of speech.
