This unit covered the basic aspects of grammar. Nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions, as well as their various sub types, were explored. I found this unit to be interesting in its deconstruction of sentences and the examination of each part. The complexity of the English language was made apparent through the numerous exceptions to grammatical rules
