This course has shown me much I didn't know about english. It didn't just show me what I know now, but also how little I know in general. I've gained an understanding of teaching as well, that should allow me to come up with creative lesson plans that get students involved and talking. Remembering the contrast between my middle school spanish teacher and my high school french teacher, I am fairly certain that my french teacher took some sort of ESA based class during her education. I feel confident that I will be able not just to run a class and 'be a teacher', but to actually teach and have my students come away more confident and knowledgeable. Learning should be fun and interesting, and this course has definitely shown that spirit throughout its instruction. I plan on picking up more information on grammar along the way, or maybe even taking an english grammar course to further my education. The lesson plan templates were also set up very well, and I think I'll use that format to map out my ideas. A thousand brilliant suggestions. When I get a job, I know I'll be (almost) fully prepared.
