Even though I am a first language speaker I have learned a lot about identifying the different parts of speech and applying them in the right context.I feel that I will be able to assist ESL learners to understand why we use the different parts of speech in a specific context.I have learned that despite being a first language user we tend to forget some of the important finer detail because we take so much for granted.We are able to verbalize but often do not understand why something is the way it is.
