I believed I was pretty knowledgeable of grammar rules and terms, but found my head swirling as I tried to help myself understand the difference between infinitives of verbs and auxiliary verbs. Intransitive verbs and gerunds were not terms I remembered either. So, it will be a challenge to help students with those kinds of differences. I realize that those kinds of details will usually be dealt with when teaching advanced students.
Nouns, adjectives, sentence structure, verbs, adverbs, articles, prepositions and conjunctions were all covered in the material. These notes will be a good resource when teaching.
