This unit went over many of the basic constructs of English sentences. Although much of the material was familiar to me it was very useful to go over once again. I learned the basic structures of nouns, verbs, adverbs and adjectives and gained a better understanding of sentence structure. Reviewing these structures also opened my eyes to some of the places where difficulties could arise when teaching these to ESL students. The instruction included has aided me in understanding how to teach these ideas to others and where it may be necessary to proceed with caution.
