This unit discusses grammar and why it is necessary for a teacher to know the correct grammar in class. Although most if the knowledge presented was known to me, I've learned some new terms such as transitive and intransitive verbs, and I had no idea that there were so many different types of adverbs. I agree that grammar can be useful and necessary if not overused. When asking my students, they admit that grammar parts in class while often boring, have to be studied in order to progress successfully.
