As someone who was excellently surmised in the beginning paragraphs of this unit, I had a great handling of what sounds right grammatically but little understanding of the reasoning behind the order. This refresher course was much needed and very helpful. I can see how deeply understanding the method behind the manipulation of words in the context of a sentence would be beneficial in both a confidence boost from my students belief in my ability as well as a way to adapt lessons to more efficiently demonstrate grammatical rules. I printed this lesson off and will be keeping it close to me over the coming years as an ESL teacher.
