This unit identified, how to use, and reason for use the parts of speech and sentence structure. Grammar is the foundation for communication. Knowing good grammar allows for exacting the message or point you want to make. It makes communication more clear. Good grammar is critical and is often regarded as intelligence by others.
Although I learned sentence form, parts of speech, and proper grammar at a young age it became second nature to me. Often I am the one correcting (verbally or mentally) other's grammar mistakes, but this unit was not as easy as I thought it was going to be. It was a much needed refresher in the terms of "naming"" and identifying the parts of speech."
