  Our TEFL course in Germany is based in the wonderful city of Leipzig in the state of Saxony in the East of the country. Leipzig has a long and fascinating history dating back at least to the Holy Roman Empire and was an important cultural and educational center in medieval times. When the opportunity came for me to teach in China, I immediately said, “NO!” I was thinking of traveling to places like South America, France, Italy, Greece, etc. because I had romanticized these places in my mind from what I had seen on television and read about in magazines.
