Control activities tend to be used in the study phase and here, the teacher will be helping the students in terms of what they need to say and how they go about saying it.   So, let's take a common game that's been played over the years, which is called Noughts and Crosses or Tic-Tac-Toe. What we're going to do is to adapt this game for classroom use.
