I personally feel that I have learned quite a lot from this chapter as previous to studying this unit I had a very elementary knowledge of the various different types of conditionals and I believe that to have a true command of them and the exact context in which each should be applied may require further study. In addition my understanding of reported verses direct speech was also rudimentary and this unit has helped me to clarify exact definitions of both methods of speech and their appropriate uses.
