This essay deals with the teaching profession and its development. This essay is divided into three main sections. The first part contains a comment on this topic, which will give an idea of what will be discussed later. The second part I want to share my thoughts, ideas and my knowledge about this issue. In conclusion, I will summarize the reasoning. In other words, I will make a conclusion and confirm my point of view. All people know that the teaching profession is one of the most important professions. For centuries, teachers have been educating and teaching important skills and knowledge. Like our parents, they pass on from generation to generation the necessary skills for life. Each teacher needs to know about the teaching methods in order to effectively carry out their activities. Knowledge of methods of teaching foreign languages will help especially novice teachers to freely navigate in the selection of methods and techniques of training, rationally combine them in their work, consciously and creatively apply different teaching methods. To begin with, the novice teacher has many questions: “Where to start?” “How to train a foreigner?” “How to start the lessons?” Often newcomers say that they have read a lot of literature, methods, listened to the lectures of leading teachers, but did not understand where to start. I can recommend you to start from the beginning, namely with the alphabet and the rules of reading. My next advice is improving your skills. Develop yourself, learn foreign languages, get acquainted with the native language of your student. Gain experience, improve, take note of what other teachers do; adapt, apply, note the pros and cons, take the best. Your professionalism is the key to success. Enrich your knowledge. Understand all the subtleties and nuances of foreign grammar; be observant and attentive to the shades of meanings. For the teacher in the first place should be the language itself. Cards, pictures, jokes, games, songs, movies, skits, pantomimes, projects and discussions - this is only a colorful wrapper, the tip of the iceberg and will be good and effective only when the teacher knows the language system and clearly imagines why he uses a certain technique and what is offered in the classroom this or that material. So, be linguists. The Department of education advises teachers to expand their skills beyond their individual classes; teachers can be powerful levers of change in their school communities. The career path of a teacher is a strategic approach in pedagogical leadership. It enhances access to high-performance learning, supports student achievement, promotes teacher retention and provides opportunities for teacher development to continually build their learning practices. Moreover, you can improve your professional skills by studying abroad since to become a worthy international specialist, it is necessary to meet a number of criteria. In addition to perfect possession of the subject, you need to know the basics of sociology and psychology, also understand new technologies. It cannot be denied that the cost of such education is very high. The other side of the coin is, however, that you pay for knowledge; invest in your future, in your skills, and investing in the future always pays off. Doubtless, we just need to remember that these investments will pay off: it is more profitable to invest in education than anywhere else. But if you do not have the opportunity to improve skills in another country, you should take refresher courses where you are more comfortable. However, another issue to consider is language barriers. You may face a lack of knowledge of the language of the country in which you improve your skills. Nevertheless, one should accept that this will serve as an incentive for you to develop as a person and a specialist and get out of difficult situations. Personally, I believe that to grow as a person and a professional, you need to go out of your comfort zone. Another good way to develop the skills of foreign language teachers is to live a little in the country of the taught language. So you can understand the culture, traditions, mentality, enrich your knowledge of the language. It is known that the language is taught through the cultural component. In General, in my opinion, the teacher should constantly improve the level of knowledge of their language, because the language is always evolving, there are new concepts in connection with the progress, development of society, science and technology, medicine. There are many ways to do this. For example, refresher courses, travel abroad, leadership development, are able to be flexible, be aware of global trends, innovations in the teaching field. The teacher should be aware of the teaching methods and new methods, also apply them in their lessons to the learning process was interesting and exciting for the student. Hard work, trial and error teacher reaches his skill. Being a teacher means never ceasing to learn. Knowledge will never be superfluous.
