Unit 2 has covered a few broad subjects. We got a basic classification of developmental theories. Then we learned about how findings of research into L1 learning could influence teaching of L2. Young learners were further divided into two age groups and we got some specific information regarding the characteristics of their way of learning. I found the description of classroom layouts especially useful.
