Unit 6 addresses the importance of being aware of cultural issues and honoring rules of etiquette in other countries. It instructs potential teachers to be conservative in their approach when first learning about other cultures. This unit also provided a lot of good advice on how to apply for teaching jobs and what to include on a CV/Resume. As with other units, Unit 6 provided a lot of resources that are helpful to teachers including professional associations and a webliography of useful contacts. Above all, I learned the importance of respecting other cultures.
