The teacher has many roles in the classroom(model,monitor,assessor,...)that he should know when to take and how to switch between them appropriately. In the other side; having a listener,and someone who has the will to learn and to ask questions...,might be the perfect learner for the teacher . but being a good learner is controlled by many facts too .Young learners are different from adults (depending on their learning /life experience,behaviour...) the way of dealing with learners varies from culture to another ,and their language level too.
